Journey into the Light

I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands, skies and waters on which I am blessed to walk, and create my art. I pay my respects to the Elders, past, present and emerging and honour them as the original wisdom-keepers, and storytellers. I give thanks to the Ancestors and spirits of the land - thank you for having me, thank you for guiding me, thank you for the privilege of walking these lands. I honour the stories that have gone before me, that have helped shape mine. My Nan, who told captivating stories and kindled the fire of storytelling within me. My beautiful clients, who entrust me with the precious gift of seeing them. The elements, walking with me, my Ancestors, walking beside me; and the glorious Sun {the light} - my ally, my teacher, and dearest friend.
